New HitchHiker service partner
Everyone who has own airfares or has negotiated fares, knows that the efficient administration of net fares is a challenge. Depending on the amount and complexity of the tariffs, companies load and manage their fares themselves or outsource this service. HitchHiker’s visualFares Entry is a professional fare loading and distribution tool used by many international customers for more than 15 years. The application can be utilised internally or through a HitchHiker service partner.
Many HitchHiker customers have already outsourced this service successfully. Now we are happy to introduce our new partner for fare loading: Bird Information Systems (BIS).BIS is a CMMI Level 3 certified company, part of the travel conglomerate The Bird Group. The Bird Group has over 40 years’ experience in the travel, tourism and aviation market. The Indian Travel Technology Specialist takes care of the loading, administration and distribution of net fares. This service is attracting to airlines and consolidators as well as to tour operators and portals. They can have all their airline contracts loaded by BIS and are able to outsource the complete administration of their fare database. To export the fares the HitchHiker VFX format and the STADAF (standard format) are available. No matter if tour operator, consolidator or other net fares, all tariffs can be distributed target-oriented in the desired format to the customers.
